About

I am a dedicated mother, seasoned educator, avid reader, recreatational runner, thrifty shopper and local beach lover infused with a visionary mind for writing. 

My educational background includes a BS in Elementary Education from The Catholic University of America and an MS in Reading and Writing Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University. I have been teaching for 26 years, at Antrim Elementary School in Pt. Beach, fulfilling many different roles. I am Wilson Trained and serve on the I&RS Committee where I develop plans that differentiate instruction to ensure all students are learning and thriving. I am currently the Response to Intervention Coordinator for our school.

Writing is in my genes; my mother was an English Professor and my daughter will be majoring in English Creative Writing this fall at The University of Miami (Go Canes!) Over the years, I've cultivated my writing skills and have become the go-to writer and editor for my colleagues, family, friends, and even my daughter's peers. I've had the privilege of crafting, refining, and enhancing numerous college essays with passion and precision.
